The New NELLA Collection

I have fair asian skin, and my eyes are a dark brown I am very experienced with contacts, so believe me when I say that this OLENS x NELLA collection is it!! First of, their contacts are so easy to put on, they slip right in and feel so comfortable it doesn’t feel like you have anything in your eyes at all. The colors I tried are ash grey, ash olive, and ash beige. My personal favorite is the ash grey - i feel like it looks the best on me.

NELLA Lenses Review

As a long time Olens wearer, these NELLA lenses are absolutely beautiful! I have a light/medium neutral skin tone with dark brown/almost black eyes and usually gravitate toward gray lenses but every single color in this collection is so incredibly stunning and really gives a natural color changing effect. The 13.3 diameter sizing and limbal ring is perfect and gives me the right amount of enlarging effect and definition without looking too bug eyed. These lenses are also super opaque but somehow mesh with my dark eyes to make them look look so natural. As mentioned earlier I usually gravitate toward gray lenses as I feel blues look too unnatural on me, green and browns look too warm and “snake” if that makes sense. All three colors in this line are gorgeous but to my surprise the beige is definitely my favorite as it’s the perfect amount of ashy cool. My favorite pair for the last several months have been the French shine lavender but the NELLA ash beige may be my new favorite! They currently only come in monthlys, I hope they’ll release 1-day lenses of the NELLAs soon! I beg of you Olens!

The new NELLA lenses :)

I am newer to contacts and have recently tried the new nella olens lenses in the shades ‘ash gray’ and ‘ash olive’. These have been great as they enhance my eye size as they are a larger 13.3mm lens - great for trying new makeup lenses! Also, I like to try new eye colours depending on my mood and what products I’m testing, as always Olens has been great for this as the lenses are comfortable and easy to use. These are 1month lenses so I have used them multiple times. This has a beautiful natural colour but gives a perfect ‘cartoon-like’ look due to the defining liminal ring. I would definitely get these again :) (excuse the lashes from some of the photos - they were on their third wear).
